Lingua draws on over twenty years’ experience of training senior managers from Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.

We assess delegates to determine their practical needs of training, their starting-level, and the most suitable methods of learning. Practical projects are included in each delegate’s course (e.g. negotiation, a presentation, telephone tasks, technical discussion). Courses are taught one-to-one, with some activities with two teachers to practise skills such as managing a meeting, interviews, presentations and other real-life conversational skills.

You are looked after by excellent hosts, who provide a first-class standard of hospitality and welcome.

Your hosts support your learning with a variety of activities and events, and reinforce the new skills you are learning from your teachers during the day.

The Old Rectory is a charming old English house situated in Gloucestershire fully equipped with internet access in the en-suite study-bedrooms. During a learner's stay, visits and activities are arranged such as trips to Stratford-upon-Avon to see some theatre, a tour of the Cotswolds and visits to cities such as London, Bristol and Oxford.

By sharing the daily life of my English hosts for two weeks, I was in the best possible environment to work, study, discuss and make progress, and get a taste of the English way of life... For me, my unexpected pleasure was to discover the secrets of the game of cricket.
